Why do you require an equipment deposit and how is it paid back? The equipment deposit is 100% refundable, but please read the Alpha, Beta, Launch program to make sure you understand how it all works. The reason why we do an equipment deposit is twofold: 1. To ensure our CBL operations manual and business equipment is returned if you decided not to continue in the business after your term. And 2. To weed out anyone that’s not really serious about starting a CBL league or tournament operation because they most likely will not pay $800 if they aren’t serious about the business.

Is there another way to pay the equipment deposit? Yes, there is another way to finance your equipment deposit and we actually "PREFER" that you do it this way. The way you can you not pay out of your own pocket is to go out and get a banner sponsor. We prefer this because it actually demonstrates to us that you are able to sell sponsorship, which is important to your financial success. If you are interested in this option email us at info@cblhoopsusa.net with "Sponsorship Link Needed for Future Operator" in the subject line.

How does the CBL Operator equipment deposit ($795.00) work? The CBL provides each Operator with CBL business equipment (operations manual, webpage set-up, CBL game balls, etc.) that are vital to each Operator’s success. The deposit is 100 % refundable once you have successfully completed the Alpha, Beta, and Launch phases within 120 days of being on the CBL Operator program. You also have a five day right to recission if you change your mind about being a CBL Operator. If you do not successfully complete the start-up (Alpha, Beta, and Launch phases) benchmarks within the 120 day timeframe you will forefeit your deposit. See section 8.3 Start-Up Benchmarks in the CBL Operations Manual.
