2012 CBL City Tournaments

Registration is limited to 16 teams and 12 players per team, per division.

Registration is on a first come, first sign-up basis. Team registration cost for each team is "FREE!"

Tournament registration closes at Midnight on May 31st, 2012. The tournament location for all games will be at:

The 16 team tournament bracket will be emailed to all players one week before the tournament starts and it will be posted at the sports center on game days.

Adult League Pre-Season Tournament Division

CBL City Tournament Bylaws & Player Conduct

• 5-on-5 single game elimination style tournament bracket
• Maximum of 12 players per team, minimum of 12 players per team
• Teams can not change or add to their team roster once the tournament starts
• Youth players cannot play on multiple teams, this will result in an automatic team forfeit
• Players that are not 10 years of age can play in the CBL City Tournament
• Players must play in the grade level that they will be come August of 2011
• Players must sign the CBL player conduct contract and participation wavier
• All teams "must" register online using the CBL registration page
• All players in the CBL tournament will be considered a ROLE MODEL at all times
• If a player receives a technical foul they will be benched for 12 minutes for that game
• If a player gets 2 technical fouls he or she will be dismissed from the tournament 
• Any misconduct (fighting) or illegal acts of a player at the tournament will warrant a "team forfeit"
• AAU, AYBT, and Club basketball teams are welcome to register and play in the CBL City Tournaments
• Each participant will be asked to sign the CBL Pledge to My Community and to America

CBL City Tournament Game Rules

• Certified officials will be used to call all games
• Games will consist of four twelve minute running game clock quarters
• The last two minutes of the fourth quarter, game clock will stop on the whistle
• The CBL will use basic game rules (3 sec in the lane, 3 pointers, and 3pt. play continuation, etc.)
• Each player will have 6 player fouls
• Slam dunks will be worth 3 points, 3-pointers shots will be worth 4-points
• There will not be any timeouts during tournament play until championship game
• Teams must use the 4 minute player substitutions break during each quarter as their timeout
• All players must wear matching uniform tops or the CBL tournament jersey/t-shirt
• Final tournament rules will be made on May 25th, 2012, until then rules are subject to being updated
